Pomodoro vs longer study sessions
Choose a rhythm that fits the task and your energy.
Short sessions
Try 25 minutes of work followed by 5 minutes away from the task. For a difficult start, try 10 minutes and a short break. These are starting points, not rules.
Longer sessions
Try 45–60 minutes when you need time to read, write or work through a complex problem. Plan a 10–15 minute break afterwards and stop sooner if you need rest.
Compare your own experience
For a few days, note what you completed and how tired you felt. Prefer the rhythm that supports useful work and a sustainable day, rather than the most hours.
Set it up in StudyTick
Add alternating Task and Break entries to your timetable. StudyTick follows the schedule you enter; it does not currently generate automatic Pomodoro cycles.
